The Pothys in Coimbatore opened newly, it targeted customers from Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, Karur and the Nilgiris District. Customers were expected from about 150 km radius around Coimbatore. The Pothys here had its strengths in terms of customer service, price and variety. Nearly 80 per cent of sales came from the mid-income segment. It had its own brand in silk – Samudrika, Parampara and Vastrakala Pattu

Mr. Ramesh told  that with presence in Srivilliputhur, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Chennai and now Coimbatore (opened on 16th March 2011), Pothys would open a showroom in Thiruvananthapuram next.
